Draft pending legal review. This document is a good-faith starting point generated from how the service actually works. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not yet a binding agreement. Do not rely on it for a production launch until counsel has signed off.

What we collect about you (our customer)

Account: your email address, and a password (stored only as a hash).
Usage: the searches you run and the leads produced for you.
Billing: handled by Stripe/PayPal; we store only a card brand, last four digits, and expiry for display.
Technical: IP address and request metadata, used for rate limiting and security.

Lead data

The service discovers publicly listed local businesses and extracts business contact information from their public websites and public listings. This can include the names of business owners. We redact emails and phone numbers from page text before it is sent to our owner-name extraction provider. If you are an individual and want your information removed, contact support@skipthegatekeeper.com. On request we erase your contact details from all existing records and add them to a suppression list so they are not collected again in future runs.

Who we share data with

Only the subprocessors listed, each for the function shown. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Lead data and run history are deleted when you close your account, after a 30-day grace period. Audit records are retained for up to one year. Payment records are retained as required for financial record-keeping.

Your choices

You can export or delete your account's data from your dashboard at any time (Billing → Download my data / Close account).
